The Wrangler has long been favored among Langhorne area drivers who prefer a vehicle having off-road capabilities and a versatile body. Features available as optional packages or standard in multiple trim levels enable new owners to choose the amenities they desire.
The Wrangler comes standard with a 3.6-liter V6 engine, a six-speed manual transmission, and RWD. This engine produces 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Some Jenkintown drivers might prefer the medium-size SUV with the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. This motor delivers 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque and accompanies an automatic eight-speed transmission and RWD.
An available 3.0-liter V6 turbocharged diesel engine offers 260 horsepower and 422 pound-feet of torque. These models also have the automatic transmission and RWD.
Jeep recently introduced a Wrangler model known as the 4xe. This plug-in hybrid has the turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with an electric motor and a 17-kWh battery to achieve 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque.
All of the latest Jeep Wrangler models capably pull up to 3,500 pounds. All of the models also come with 4WD. However, the 4WD varieties include the part-time Command-Trac, the part-time Rock-Trac or the full-time Selec-Trac.
The new Wrangler models maintain their iconic boxy exterior look that includes the recognizable round headlights and vertically slotted grille. The SUVs are available in two or four-door models and with hard or soft tops. The windshields fold flat and the doors are removable.
Two-door models are designed to seat four passengers. The four-door Wrangler models are created to seat five people. The flooring has water-resistant carpet that removes as needed for cleaning. The floor also has a floor drain to make muddy clean-ups easier.
There is 12.9 cubic feet of rear storage space in two-door models. The space increases to 31.7 cubic feet when folding the rear seats. Four-door models have 31.7 cubic feet, which expands to 72.4 cubic feet.
Sport models have standard 4WD plus undercarriage skid plates and a two-speed transfer case. The engine starts by pushing a button. The vehicles also have three 12-volt electrical outlets.
Sport S models in our Cherry Hill, NJ area inventory have powered door locks and windows. The doors may also be locked remotely.
