Barbera's On The Boulevard is proud to support the youth and local community of Northeast Philadelphia by supporting Philadelphia's Oldest Soccer Club, Lighthouse Soccer. We hope that our support will open many new opportunities for these young players and help to broaden their discipline and character, on and off the field.
About Lighthouse Soccer: Lighthouse Soccer Club (LSC) is a not-for-profit youth soccer
organization that sponsors youth soccer programs for over 300 youngsters
between the ages of 5 to 18 years old. Programs include soccer skills clinics and camps, and an in-house
training program. Lighthouse Soccer has a successful travel team program which enters
boys and girls soccer teams in the Mid-Atlantic Premier Soccer League,
DELCO League, Independent Girls Soccer League, PAGS, United Junior
Soccer League, Inter-County Soccer League, and the Philadelphia Dept. of
Recreation. The Lighthouse Soccer Club has a rich history in national youth soccer.
Lighthouse Boys Club (Philadelphia) won national championships in 1938,
1948, 1949, 1957, and 1967. LSC is affiliated with the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association (EPYSA). Lighthouse Soccer is the oldest soccer club in Philadelphia and is rich in soccer history. Lighthouse Soccer has recently been inducted into the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame.
