If you're looking for fun this Memorial Day in the Philadelphia area you may want to consider grabbing tickets to Jam on the River. This year's Jam on the River will be held on Saturday, May 16 at Festival Pier at Penn's Landing.
Jam on the River is a one-of-a-kind music celebration, bringing together the best bands in one central Philadelphia location. Friends come together to listen to great music, dance, and just hang out.
This year's Jam on the River is being held in a new location. Festival organizers will be taking advantage of the million-dollar renovation at Festival Pier over the past year. There will be more space for the festival with more room to dance, chill out, and grab some great food.

Tickets are on sale now for around $45. These are general admission tickets and all tickets are standing room only. No seating will be available on the day and the show will go on no matter the weather.
A VIP package is also available for $100 and will include an exclusive VIP viewing area, access to a VIP club with private bar and wait staff, and a custom poster. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster.
The first band will take the stage at 1 pm and the concert is set to run through the evening hours. There will be no need to leave the festival with plenty of good food on site.
If you're looking to enjoy yourself at Jam on the River, you may want to consider taking public transportation. You can take the Market-Frankfort subway line eastbound straight to Front and Spring Garden, which puts you within a block of Festival Pier. This is the easiest way to get to the concert, but there are other public transport options available.
If you're driving to the concert, you'll find free parking lots adjacent to the Festival Pier-just get there early to make sure you get a spot. There's also limited meter parking in streets close to Festival Pier.
