Brunch is a favorite meal for Fox Chase residents, probably because it's the best meal of the day. Just think about it. You sleep in, take a nice relaxing shower because hey, you don't have anywhere to be. Your friends call you up and you realize you're famished, and brunch sounds like the best idea you've ever had, especially after your late night out. You get yourself together, get to the restaurant, order a Bloody Mary, and enjoy the most riveting conversation you've ever had-today. Obviously, this is the best way to enjoy the weekend.
So where are the best brunch spots in Fox Chase? We've got the top three for you right here.
The Blue Duck Philadelphia
2859 Holme Avenue, Philadelphia, PA
This New American restaurant is new to the Fox Chase area, but since it opened in 2014, the restaurant has been serving up incredible food at awesome prices. They serve a nationally recognized pork roll burger with sriracha mayonnaise and a fried egg that's to die for.
But, of course, their biggest draw is, you guessed it, their brunch menu. They serve brunch every Sunday from 10 am until 3 pm. Their top two menu items? Homemade chicken and waffles and duck Benedict. And can we just say they're absolutely delicious.
The Blue Duck is BYOB, so if you're really fixing for that Bloody Mary or a delicious mimosa, you'll want to plan ahead. If mid-morning libations aren't really your thing, the restaurant serves Coke products and other drinks in adorable Mason jar glasses we just love.
West Ave Grille
718 West Avenue, Jenkintown, PA
Award winning, family owned and operated, and conveniently located in Jenkintown. These are our three favorites about West Ave Grille. Our fourth? They serve breakfast and lunch (AKA brunch) Tuesday through Sunday from 8 am until 3 pm. Talk about a seriously big win.
West Ave Grille is another BYOB restaurant, but since that's common in the Fox Chase area, we won't hold it against them. Besides, they also deliver for free from 10 am until 2 pm. They also offer catering services, so if you're not quite up for putting yourself together, you can happily answer the door in your jam-jams and pour yourself a mimosa at home.
Relish
7152 Ogontz Avenue, Philadelphia, PA
We don't often hear the words "brunch" and "buffet" together, but when we do, we pull out our big purses and get ready to throw down. Relish allows you to literally relish a whole smorgasbord of foods. They offer a 40-foot buffet-seriously, 40 feet long. The restaurant was even named one of the top 100 brunch spots in America by Open Table diners.
You can enjoy their brunch buffet on Saturday and Sunday, and it features all of your favorite brunch classics, from made-to-order omelets and pancakes to classics such as iron skillet fried chicken and freshly baked goods such as muffins and bagels. Really, what more could you want?
